Steampunk Skull Earrings 2

I did not kill any animals to make this.

These earrings were made out of Carolina wrens that I had found over time. The feathers that you see are their actual wings that have been preserved. The beaks have been painted with a gradient of cranberry and black acrylic paint. The gears were collected from an old watch. At the top, near the earring hook, I have wrapped with a strip of leather, made locally.
